In the course of handling personal data and information placed at their disposal by applicants, Avis Budget Group Business Support Centre Ltd. acts in accordance with operative statutes at all times. The company ensures the safety of such information, furthermore takes all technical and organisational measures, and creates the rules of procedure necessary for enforcing the relevant regulations and other recommendations.
We took the following relevant operative statutes and major international recommendations into account regarding all personal data of our applicants while creating our privacy policy:
- Act LXIII of 1992 about the protection of personal data and the revelation of public information;
- Act VI of 1998 about the protection of individuals in the course of an automated processing of personal data
- the operation, ethics and procedure regulations of the Association of Hungarian Content Providers pertaining to content providing, especially Annex 2 about the management and protection of personal data and information;
- the recommendations of Online Privacy Alliance
In order to observe the right of information autonomy, AVIS BSC Ltd. stores and processes personal data of our applicants in their databases only with the approval of the person concerned.
Our services contain several contact points (hyperlinks) that lead to the pages of other service providers. We do not take responsibility for the data and information protection policy of the aforementioned service providers.
